Josh Barth

Lay Leader

Josh was asked to serve as the Lay Leader of Kenton in January of 2016. Prior to being a Lay Leader, Josh served for one year on the Trustees Committee and has coordinated the meal packing mission "Stop Hunger Now" at Kenton for two years.

Josh grew up in a Marine Corps town along the coast of North Carolina-- Jacksonville, NC. In December of 2014, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources from Delaware State University. In January 2015, Josh began attending Wesley College in Dover, DE to pursue a Master’s degree in Environmental Science.

Josh is passionate about being a leader in the community, acting upon the needs of community and world. Josh aspires to reach those in-which the church previously and/or currently failed. Through compassion, acceptance, grace, love, worship, and active missions, we can grow the kingdom of God one individual, one community, one state, and one country at a time. Josh married his beautiful wife Emily in October of 2014, and they have a son name Cooper. Josh and Emily love to spend time together relaxing watching Netflix and traveling to new places.
