Meet Our Staff
Rev. Dr. Karl Kraft
Our interim pastor (September - December 2017) is the Rev. Dr. Karl R. Kraft, a retired Elder from the Greater NJ Annual Conference. Pastor Karl has been a steady part of our church since 2012 when he, his wife Evelyn, and daughter Karlyn, relocated to Dover.
He was graduated from Union College (Barbourville, KY; B. A., 1970); Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary, Philadelphia; M. Div., 1973); and the Theological School of Drew University (Madison, NJ; D. Min., 1990). Pastor Karl served nine NJ appointments over 43 years.
His hobbies include playing the guitar, singing, writing, cartooning, biking, walking, and composing a weekly humor e-newsletter. He received certification as a writer of children's literature from the Institute of Children's Literature in Madison, CT, in 2016.
Pastor Karl says he looks forward to working with the Kenton worshiping community to bridge the gap between appointed pastors, and asks for the congregation's prayers as he strives to maintain our church's momentum.
